A great, professional job on 10Jun20 cleaning my lengthy two story home dryer vent structure. Effectively worked through several constraints such as a steep roof, ducting angles, etc. Where it would previously take 3-30 minute cycles (90 min) to dry clothes, today it required 1-30 minute cycle (30 min) to dry. A wonderful job and great to work with especially if have to 'think on feet' with a complex ducting layout in a home.

How often do Dryer Vents need cleaning?

On Average About Once per Year.

The more efficiently a dryer vent exhausts air, the less lint build up in it. Generally, a short exhaust is better than long ones and full size dryers exhaust better than smaller stack dryers. For obvious reasons , newer dryers may exhaust better than older ones. Vents with multiple turns and elbows are likely to build up more lint. Very short vents attached to full size dryers may need less cleaning but still require annual cleaning. Most vents require annual cleaning and some need Bi-Annual cleaning.
